2024- 2025 Norman High Student Council is a group of 52 students chosen to represent Norman High. While we are student-led, we could not do anything without our three advisors, Madison McDaniel, Katy Powers, and Riley Burr. Our Student Council serves as the bridge between the student body and the school administration, voicing student concerns and working to improve our school environment daily. We plan and put together numerous events for the whole school to attend, which include Assemblies, Homecoming parade and bonfire, Semi-Formal, Spirit Weeks, and more! We strive to make our school a better place every day.

We have 37 lovely senators in our committee! Senators get in by writing an application, followed by an interview!

We have 10 amazing committee chairs who get their position by giving a presentation of their preferred committee. It takes a lot of courage to get up in front of important people such as our principals and give a presentation, but our council would not run without them, they rock!

To be an officer, it is a little different… They run their own campaign and it is a school-wide vote for each of our officer positions. They work super hard every single day to make sure everything runs smoothly and gets done correctly. They are awesome and we are so grateful for them!
